4 He answered, ^t“Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, ^u‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and ^vthe two shall become one flesh’?

24 ^tTherefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

27 And ⁿbeginning with ^oMoses and ^pall the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

44 Then he said to them, ^k“These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, ^lthat everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

13 And we impart this ^tin words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, ^uinterpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.¹

37 ^cIf anyone thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to you are a command of the Lord.

20 knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. 21 For ^kno prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God ^las they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

2 ^hthat you should remember the predictions of ⁱthe holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles,

15 And count ^lthe patience of our Lord as salvation, just as ^mour beloved brother Paul also wrote to you ⁿaccording to the wisdom given him, 16 as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. ^oThere are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, ^pas they do the other Scriptures.
