5 But thus shall you deal with them: ⁿyou shall break down their altars and dash in pieces their ⁿpillars and chop down their ⁿAsherim and ^oburn their carved images with fire.

22 Then you will defile your carved idols overlaid with silver and your gold-plated metal images. ^wYou will scatter them as unclean things. You will say to them, “Be gone!”
