1 Paul, ^aan apostle of Christ Jesus ^bby the will of God,

To the saints who are in Ephesus, and ^care faithful¹ in Christ Jesus:

11 And ^ysuch were some of you. But ^zyou were washed, ^ayou were sanctified, ^byou were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

2 Or do you not know that ^sthe saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases?

13 And ^jwe also thank God constantly¹ for this, that when you received ^kthe word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it ^lnot as the word of men² but as what it really is, the word of God, ^mwhich is at work in you believers.
