The Creation of the World

1 In the ^abeginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

39 ^vYou search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and ^wit is they that bear witness about me,

31 ^wbut these are written so that you may ^xbelieve that Jesus is the Christ, ^ythe Son of God, and that by believing ^zyou may have life ^ain his name.

17 So ^zfaith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

2 For I bear them witness that ^bthey have a zeal for God, ^cbut not according to knowledge.

15 if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.
