3 And one called to another and said:

1 After we were brought safely through, ^lwe then learned that ^mthe island was called Malta.

20 For ^gthe Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And ^hgreater works than these will he show him, so that ⁱyou may marvel.

3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has ^xSatan filled your heart to lie ^yto the Holy Spirit and ^zto keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? 4 While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but ^ato God.”
